The 1912 school-turned performing arts theatre, rural schools museum, art gallery, library branch (& so much more) will turn 100 in 2012. What a priceless treasure was saved from the wrecking ball by a handful of educators, patient spouses, local tradesmen and actors (then called the North County Players). Twenty-one years ago/September 1991 when that troop of spirited individuals finally held their first performance, it was the original architect Kirtland Cutter who inspired the re-naming of this beautiful building; The Cutter Theatre.
