A student-run microenterprise offering sit-on-top kayak rental on the beautiful Pend Oreille River. You launch from the Oldtown Rotary Park located along Hwy 2 at the bridge crossing the Pend Oreille River and across the river from Newport, WA. We provide all of the equipment you will need for a great day on the water, then we will pick you up downstream and return you to our launch site.
This is relaxing, hassle free fun for all ages and levels of experience.
The river will take you through some great birding opportunities identified in the "Birders Guide to the International Selkirk Loop", namely site #'s 9-Flying Goose; 10-Tacoma/Trimble Creek; 11-Cusick Wetland Educational Site; and 13-Pioneer Park.
