Northport is located 7 miles south of the International Border and is the last community before Canada on Highway 25. Kettle Falls is located south of Northport at the junction of Highway 20 and 25. The International Border Crossing at Frontier on the U.S. side and Paterson on the Canadian side are both 24-hour ports. Rossland, B.C., is 7 mi (11 km) north of Paterson.
